Edwardsville, Illinois, October 16, 2009. - Attorney David W. Terry of the Terry Law Firm, L.L.C. filed a wrongful death lawsuit on Friday against the Edwardsville Nursing and Rehab Center as a result of a resident's death at the facility on October 22, 2007.  The Complaint was filed in the Circuit Court of Madison County.  The resident died after suffering a fall in a bathroom where the light was not in working order.  He fell, struck his head, and died several minutes later on the bathroom floor.

During the course of his residency, the resident needed assistance with mobility.  However, on the night of his death, the facility staff provided no assistance to the resident, which resulted in his fall.
