David W. Terry was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, which is a small town on the Mississippi River, 100 miles from St. Louis. He attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy. After working four years in the business world he attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa where he received his law degree in 1994.

Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Terry worked in small, medium and large law firms, including one of Missouri's largest and most prestigious law firms. Each setting contributed to his unique blend of experience ranging from the representation of individuals to large corporations and from plaintiffs to defendants.

Now leading the Terry Law Firm, Mr. Terry practices in all areas of serious personal injury, with particular emphasis in nursing home abuse and neglect, automobile and truck accidents and medical negligence.

Mr. Terry was awarded an "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the most respected and impartial source of information about attorneys. The "AV" rating is the highest rating available and is shared by fewer than 7% of law firms. Martindale-Hubbell ratings are drawn from evaluations submitted by judges and legal peers.
